In Killzone 2 they use Cell's cores for: Anti aliasing, geometry, lights and shadows.
In PC games processors are used for physics and AI's. But early before any graphics cards, (they used to be called 3D cards) everything was done by processors. Then 3D cards came and made it easier for processors.
So PS3 goes a step back into the past and makes processor do most of the work.
Also, most of the visuals are done by the RSX.
these guys would be the real masters if they put the Ps3 together and let it work again
